ProbiPin 9 may improve or normalise the microbial balance in the human intestines when taken on a regular basis and thereby improve the functioning of the digestive tract. It helps by beneficially balancing the intestinal immune response and restoring, strengthening and maintaining the balance of good intestinal flora.
Composition:
Each capsule contains:
- Probiotic Blend providing approximately 5 billion colony forming units (CFU)
- Bifidobacterium lactis
- Bifidobacterium bifidum
- Bifidobacterium longum
- Lactobacillus acidophilus
- Lactobacillus casei
- Lactobacillus plantarum
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus
- Lactobacillus lactis
- Streptococcus thermophilus
- Prebiotic:
- Inulin - 50mg
Inactive Ingredients:
- Maize starch, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, vegetable gelatine capsule, sodium chloride.
Free of gluten and lactose.
Dosage and directions for use:
- Take one to two capsules daily or as directed by your healthcare professional.
- Do not exceed recommended dosage without consulting your healthcare practitioner.
Contra-indications:
- Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

- If any adverse reaction occurs stop taking this product and contact your healthcare professional. - Porphyria: Safety has not been established.
- Patients with short bowel syndrome might be predisposed to pathogenic infection from lactobacillus. This might be due to impaired gut integrity in patients with short bowel syndrome.
Interactions:
- Taking antibiotics along with probiotics can reduce the effectiveness of the probiotic.
- To avoid this interaction, take this medicine at least two hours after antibiotics.
Pregnancy and lactation:
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare practitioner before using this product.
Side effects:
- Side effects can include intestinal gas and bloating or diarrhoea. Not all side effects reported for this medicine are included in this leaflet. Should your general health worsen or if you experience any untoward effects while taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare provider for advice.
