PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION: A34 (Other) Complementary medicine
INDICATIONS:
If acid levels in the body are too high it can cause a wide range of health problems. Alkalinity Up helps the body neutralise its acid levels.
This may help with aching joints or heartburn.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Patients on calcium and potassium free diets should not use this product. Reduced renal function may cause hyperkalaemia or hypercalcaemia.
WARNINGS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
If any adverse reaction occurs stop taking this product and contact your healthcare professional. Patients taking any medication should consult their healthcare professional before taking any complementary medicine. When starting any new medication always tell your healthcare professional if you are taking any complementary medicine Calcium may cause constipation. When using Alkalinity Up it is recommended you drink at least two litres of water daily.
INTERACTIONS:
Alkaline powder may interact with certain other vitamin and mineral supplements.
If other supplements are taken wait for at least an hour before taking alkaline powder.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
Safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. Please consult your healthcare professional.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Adults: One heaped scoop (7.5g) in a glass of water, mixed well and taken on an empty stomach once a day or as needed.
Children: Half the adult dose. Use within 30 days of opening.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF TREATMENT:
Treatment is symptomatic and supportive. In the event of overdosage consult your healthcare professional or hospital.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store under 25°C in a cool dry place. Keep the container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children. If for any reason you need to dispose of this medication, please return it to your pharmacist who will dispose of it responsibly.
